Pan Zhanle (18), a rising star in Chinese swimming, surpassed Hwang Seon-woo (19, Gangwon Provincial Office)’s 2022-2023 season’s best record in the men’s 200m freestyle at the Chinese Championships held in his country.
Pan Zhanle was the first to take a touchpad in the men’s 200m freestyle final at the 2023 China Swimming Championships held in Hangzhou, China on the 4th with a time of 1:44:65.
Van Zanler reduced his 200m freestyle 먹튀검증personal best by 3.88 seconds from 1:48.53.
Hwang Seon-woo recorded 1:44:67 in the 200m freestyle at the National Sports Festival on October 10 last year. It was the best 200 m freestyle this season. However, Panzhanler broke Hwang Seon-woo’s record by 0.02 seconds and became the record holder in the men’s 200m freestyle this season.
However, Hwang Seon-woo (1:44:47) is still 0.18 seconds ahead of Panzhanle in the personal best record.
Hwang Seon-woo is focusing on the World Championships to be held in Fukuoka, Japan in July and the Asian Games in Hangzhou in September. In two tournaments, he faces off against Panzanler, who has emerged as a dark horse.
Also, in the world championships, it is inevitable to compete with not only Panzanler but also David Popovich (Romania), the current strongest player.
Meanwhile, Pan Zhanle won the 100m freestyle at the Chinese Championships on the 1st with a new Asian record of 47.22 seconds.
